Dr. Lawrence Warner was born in Moab, Utah at his grandparent’s home while his father was overseas at the end of World War II. Dr. Warner moved to Oregon Portland, Oregon for his high school and college education and training. After serving an LDS mission in the Netherlands for 30 months, he returned to enter medical school in Portland and get married to his sweetheart Marcia. After four years specialty training in Phoenix, Arizona in obstetrics and gynecology, Dr. Warner and his family returned to Oregon to begin private practice in McMinnville as the first specialist in the county.
Dr. Warner and his wife raised five children in McMinnville and after his children were grown, he moved to Utah to begin practice in Utah County. After nineteen years delivering over 7,000 babies, the process of retirement has begun for Dr. Warner but he will continue to cover San Juan Clinic Monitcello and San Juan Hospital once a month to provide needed specialty care in southeastern Utah.
