REGISTERED NURSE: San Juan Hospital RN (Full Time/PRN)
San Juan Hospital is seeking motivated RNs to work day or night shift. As an RN on the floor, you will care for patients across all ages, and in multiple settings including ED, Med/Surg, Critical Care, Obstetrics, and Skilled Nursing patients.
The RN is responsible and accountable for directing, planning and organizing the nursing activities in the hospital for an assigned shift with focus on patient, physician and staff needs. The RN is responsible for coordinating and delivering skilled patient care through the nursing process in accordance with established policies and procedures; for coordinating care among patient/family, medicine, nursing, and ancillary and other team personnel; acts as patient advocate; and maintains current knowledge and standards of professional nursing practice. Requirements include:
- Graduate from an accredited Nursing School with a minimum of an Associate’s Degree.
- Utah RN license or compact nursing license.
- BLS Healthcare Provider Status
Applicants must have the following within one year of hire: ACLS, PALS, NPR, and TNCC
HOSPITAL CODER/MEDICAL RECORDS: Admin Full-time
San Juan Health Service District is seeking a qualified applicant to fill a full time position as a hospital coder and medical records management. This position will be responsible for coding hospital encounters, ER, inpatient and outpatient. Applicants must possess current Certified Professional Coder certification. Position will also be responsible for maintenance and distribution of medical records. Requires attention to detail and willingness to work as part of a team. Position will work from the San Juan Health Service District administration building in Monticello. Position open until filled.
